Climate-neutral street lights

Many cities and municipalities have been committed to a sustainable climate and energy policy for years. Especially in street lighting, a lot of energy has been saved to date with LED luminaires and intelligent controls, thus making an important contribution to environmental policy. In 2021, we went one step further and launched the Luma, the first climate-neutral street light.

The support of our customers has motivated us to continue on this path. From 2022, you will be able to purchase all our street lights with a CO2 certificate. For this purpose, we have had the PFC (Product Carbon Footprint) of all street lights determined. This gives you the opportunity to compensate for the unavoidable emissions caused by production and transport.

How does this work?

With very little extra cost per luminaire, you offset the emissions generated during production and transport at another location in the world. In this way, your new street light becomes climate-neutral.

Our partner myclimate supports us to ensure that all this happens transparently. All compensation costs flow into the carbon offset project "Sustainable development through solar cookers for Madagascar".
