Challenge
The AI is used to recognise different vehicles of road users via video, to track them through the video image, to assign them to a vehicle category and to count them at a freely definable cross-section. The video is not stored, but processed in real time and coded into data.
Solution
The project leaders hope that the visual recognition of vehicles will improve the data basis, especially for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
