Challenge
Again and again, the artworks in public space raise questions: "What is this?" "Who made this?" "Is this supposed to be art?" Until now, there has been no instrument to provide low-threshold answers to these questions.
Solution
In the future, selected works of art in public spaces will be accessible in the web-based, nationwide app "artlist.net". All app entries (images, information about the work and the artist) can be called up in a contemporary form as a list or on a mobile map. The Winterthur entries will also be supplemented with specially developed augmented reality elements. These can be used interactively and allow the viewer to actively approach the respective work of art.
