Challenge
Maintaining good quality breathing air in small rooms with a large number of people is a major challenge. Measurements have shown that in school & meeting rooms the CO2 content in the air can rise very quickly to over 1500 ppm.
Solution
The aim is to create a simple way of measuring the air quality in a room and displaying this visually by means of a traffic light system. This will indicate to the users of the room when the room needs to be ventilated by opening the windows.
